Do you have a big party coming up? It may be for a special birthday, perhaps one of your children are celebrating their 18th or 21st . It sometimes makes more financial sense to host it in your home. However, with this comes the worry of large crowds of potentially rowdy young adults, loud music and no doubt too much alcohol.
You will want to ensure everybody has a night to remember, but not at the cost of your possessions, lack of consideration for your neighbours and the safety of the guests.
It is important to have a guest list and stick to it. You don’t want to allow a complete stranger into your home.
Be aware of advertising. Social Media has its advantages, but when hosting a party, try not to advertise it too much because before you know it, you will have half the town in your front room.
Be conscious of any valuable items you don’t want broke, keep them safely out of harm’s way. The only thing you want to be cleaning up the day after is balloons and confetti, not your precious ornaments.
Finally, once the party has ended, make sure there is nobody lurking around, or in some cases passed out on the bathroom floor. Lock up and stay safe.
At ACES Security Birmingham we can help take the stress out of what should and can be an enjoyable occasion. Allow us to monitor who enters the party, keep an eye out to ensure there is no trouble, whilst you concentrate on entertaining.
